Windows of the World, now located in Signal Mountain, Tennessee, was established in 1993 in Lexington, Kentucky by Mott Gammon. 

After 25 years of dressmaking and sewing home décor as a hobby, she decided to turn her passion into a business.  Her dedication to fine craftsmanship and details, use of top quality linings, and professional equipment produces artful expressions of exquisite interior design.  It is Mott’s hope that through her high quality custom sewn designs that others will come to know and experience what true custom made home furnishings really mean.  Maybe, along the way, some bright young person will be inspired to continue this tradition, allowing her the opportunity to pass along her expertise.

Mott's client base consists of homeowners and designers in Georgia, Kentucky and Tennessee.  She is an active member of the Window Coverings Association of America (WCAA) and she regularly attends seminars and classes provided by various industry associations throughout the U.S. to stay informed of the latest trends and products.
